I don't know at the moment how to design well,as in i cant go into photoshop/illustrator and cook something up thats very creative, if even creative at all, and then use it for the site. but i do know i REALLY want to get into front end but all i can see myself doing is the coding part, not designing. is this possible for me to do?

7,521 PointsYeah there is a huge need for good front end devs right now. If you are decent you won't have a problem finding a job around here (silicon valley).

3,579 Pointsyea? ok thanks. but what about front end devs that cant design in photoshop or illustrator? i would love to learn to code from mockups but i read a few times now that employers are looking for people who can be the designer and frontend dev?

7,521 PointsNope thats what designers are for. You might have to pull assets from PSD's but unless you are at a very small company, usually those roles are broken out (at least from my experience).
