Is this a bug?

I'm getting an error "Did you create a variable named $movie?

I've tried:

$movie = array(); $movie = []; $movie = ;

Nothing works. Please help.

When you tried these, did you wrap them in php tags?

<?php
    $movie = [];
?>

You have to open the php tag before making the variable

<?php // open the php tag
$movie = array();
?> // close the php tag
