JavaScript REST APIs with Express Refactoring and Modularizing a REST API Refactor with Express Middleware

Is this the best way of implementing middleware?

To me this looks like it would be an issue if you wanted to implement multiple middlewares, what if you want to have a Security token middleware and say a tracking middleware, nesting the functions doesn't seem ideal.

What would be the solution for multiple middlewares?

That's where next() comes in, you just do them one after the other
