I am going to learn web designing in the following pattern.1st-Html and CSS then Javascript,Then PHP/MySQL.Is it the right way to learn web designing?Your suggestion and comment will be highly appreciated.

33,528 PointsAre you learning web design or development? If you are learning web development then yes but if you are learning web design I would focus on HTML, CSS, and then Javascipt (jQuery) and also tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.

Web designers make it look good. They create the user experience.
Web developers make it work. They create how the website/web app works.

2,596 PointsI started learning HTML, and got some CSS done as well. But soon after I realized I wasn't retaining much information. Make sure you practice making your own website while you are learning! It will be very helpful and will save you time.
Personally I think that by doing the design modules first it has helped me visualize the end product better. For me personally I think that has helped a lot because I am a visual learner and it helps me to understand the impact of my coding better as I can visualize the end product.
