Is verify_password a static method as well?

The set password method is clearly static, is the verify_password a static method too?

1 Answer

No, I imagine because we might want to verify the password from other parts of the application (for example, on a login screen).

set_password is a static method because it will only be called from another method in the class (in this case, the create_user method, but we might want a way to change passwords too).
