Ruby Build a Simple Ruby on Rails Application Frontend Development Laying Out the Page

Issue with Front End Development Stage

Just some feedback. Compared to the other stages, the lecturer here runs through these too fast and provides little if any explanation for why he's doing what he's doing.

I think the issue is here is that he could spend ages doing the lesson, but it would eventually become outdated due to Bootstrap releasing new versions. The best thing is to see what he does and understand that by using the Bootstrap framework you have the ability to make it look how you want. It doesn't have to look identical. The underlying message is that reading through the documentation and seeing what classes do what can give you a lot of freedom without having to code all that CSS yourself.
