3,523 PointsMy solution was to delete the whole emulator and then build a new emulator, but providing more RAM than before. It worked for me.

1,527 PointsI had this couple of times testing apps on android using the emulator. My hotfix was to restart the emulator and edit it to use dynamic controls. If the Android logo isnt appearing it means definetly something has went wrong. Check for setting and experiment with them or simply try restarting the emulator.

6,005 PointsShane's reply worked. I also downloaded genymotion which in my opinion is the best route to go if you are having emulator problems. I highly recommend it. I downloaded a plugin which allows a genymotion icon on Android Studio. I am able to load an emulator very quickly.
