Is(was) there any recommended length of meta keywords?

For users of other, old-school search engines :)

Hi Yury,

Keywords have no official length defined for them that you need to obey as all three of the major search engines being Google, Bing and Yahoo don't even use them any more buy rely on the meta description which requires a length between 150-160 characters as anything longer than that is truncated and anything shorter than 130 is considered as bad SEO.

Generally now days you can get away with not even needing to include this meta tag but it's always nice to have it there for the older search engines.

Thanks, Chris! Better to know that anyway. ;)

a small info , there is a lot of old search engines such as in schools , colleges and places like that that have very old exproler . mine college has explorer 6 .

Here even treehouse have some errors on the webpage like links that goes out of the user box post and go to liek 80% width of the screen and some other little ones sometimes.
