HTML How to Make a Website HTML First Use HTML Elements

it dpoesnt recognize teh header tag

i already input the header tag but it doesnt recognize it

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>

  <head> <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title> Ricardo Guaderrama <title>

      </head>
 <body>
   <header></header>
      <section></section>
      <footer></footer>

      </body>

</html>

It is a good habit to indent and properly nest your code for maximum readability:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
    <head>
        <meta charset="utf-8">
        <title> Ricardo Guaderrama <title>
    </head>
    <body>
        <header></header>
        <section></section>
        <footer></footer>
    </body>
</html>

Your header tag looks correct though, can you provide any more information about what is wrong?

The problem I see here is with the <title> tag. Remember to close it with </title> This can cause problems with elements further down the page. Fixing this should fix the header problem.
