It keeps saying i forgot the self argument in my code even though i have included it. Can someone post the correct code?

Please see my code and tell me where i am going wrong, thanks

first_class.py 
class Student:
    def praise(self):
        name = "Caesar"
        return print("You're doing a great job {} !".format(name))

me = Student()

me.praise()

There are three issues with your code:

  • the name variable should be assigned outside of the method. This makes it a class attribute instead of the local variable it is currently
  • to reference the attribute use self.name
  • remove the print function and return the formatted string
