HTML Introduction to HTML and CSS (2016) Make It Beautiful With CSS Test: Styling by Element and Class

It keeps saying I'm not setting the border color to red but I'm putting ".class-.main-pg { border: 4px solid red; }

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Its asking to give the paragraph a border that is 4px wide, solid and red. I put ".class-.main-pg { border: 4px solid red; } "Bummer: You need to set the border color for <p> elements to red" Thats what I did?!

index.html
<!doctype html>
<html>
  <head>
    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet">
  </head>
  <body>

    <p class=main-pg>My amazing website</p>

  </body>
</html>
styles.css
.class=.main-pg {
border: red solid 4px;
}

Remove .class= from your CSS. The period before .main-pg designates a class

.class=.main-pg

should be

.main-pg
