It keeps telling me I have Forgotten the echo command even though its directly in my code

I believe my answer for this challenge is correct but its telling me I have forgotten the echo command yet it is in my code twice

echo 'Today is ';

echo "$single_date";

Hi Chris,

I don't think they want you to use a variable, but your answer is correct and should work. try this code, it should work :) 

<?php
echo 'Today is ';
//Place your code below this comment
echo date("F d, Y"); 
?>
