It looks like you didn't give the `document.write()` method the `answer` variable.

I am on stage 2.

The question is create var answer prompt("what is day today?") then write doc.write();

when I add answer in () I get error. thanks

Hi, Can you put up your code?

I think it should look like:

var answer = prompt("What day is it today?"); document.write(answer);

I hope that helps!

my answer is exact same but I have error message.
