PHP PHP Basics Daily Exercise Program Conditionals

It says I need to create a separate if statement for each student. Not sure what that means.

So the context is Conditionals Since the student variables are specific to the student does that mean I just write the code twice?

Hi Julie,

The challenge is asking for two separate if/else blocks. It looks like you tried to use some else if conditions to get it all into one block. So try splitting it into two separate blocks one for each student.

if($studentOneGPA == 4.0){ echo "$studentOneName made the Honor Roll"; } else { echo "$studentOneName has a GPA of $studentOneGPA"; }

if($studentTwoGPA == 4.0){ echo "$studentTwoName made the Honor Roll"; } else { echo "$studentTwoName has a GPA of $studentTwoGPA"; }
