Hi there, khabe fox! That's correct. Think of it this way, if you like, though there's a bit more to it than this. When you were small you may have made code with your friends such that "a" is 1, "b" is 2, "c" is 3... all the way up to "z" is 26. So yes, p comes after "c" in the alphabet and the numerical value is higher.
