CSS How to Make a Website Beginning HTML and CSS Write an HTML Element

I've had community college courses in HTML, CSS & JavaScript. Any way to move ahead faster?

These are websites I already have up: kabrshan.com and: wekaan.com You can take a look at these (they do need some work) and get an idea of where I am now. What I'd really like to know is if what you're presenting is consistent with the latest coding, like HTML5 and CSS3? I definitely can use some JavaScript review and the jQuery is definitely something I need. I'd just like to not have to completely "reinvent the wheel" here, if there's a way I can move a bit faster. Thanks!

Hey Kathryn!

It certainly seems like you have already had some experience in Web Development. What I should suggest you do, instead of following a specific track, is just picking courses out of the library that you think you could use to extend your knowledge!

Think about your weakest areas in Web Development and then build upon these weaknesses.

Yes, this is a helpful answer, but I suspect since I'm under the auspices of the Code Oregon program and the Employment Dept. is going to be looking for benchmarks to check off, I'm probably stuck with jumping through the hoops; at least, until some more shakedown happens with the program. However, maybe I can "skip ahead" in spots and relieve some of the tedium thereby, until I get past the (what for me will be) remedial stuff.
