28,770 PointsBen Jakuben I think you have to very carefully read the download links on Oracle's site.
You can still "opt out" but you don't do it from the installer, rather you bake in the Ask toolbar right there at the download link. (YMMV, that's how I recall installing the new JRE on Windows and Linux)
