They are currently looking to hire a Java instructor, so they don't have Java lessons yet. However, most Android apps are written in Java, so you can use those lessons to get a taste of the language for now.

I am super sad they don't have Java yet too. My strategy has been to use some of the free tutorials out there to understand the basics and work on some projects. Once Treehouse gets Java lessons you'll be able to speed through them, picking up tips and coding conventions that the free tutorials don't really give you. Learning PHP and Javascript here has also taught me a lot of things that helped me improve my Java code.
Treehouse also has Ruby and soon Python. While I haven't started them yet, they probably have a lot of programming concepts you can apply to writing good Java.

6,273 PointsYes offcourse there are books and lots of tutorials out there to learn Java, but since Threehouse provides really good lessons and a clear aproach to tose progam languages i thought it would be nice to provide Java also, well no prob i'l wait for it or otherwise digg self into it if i really interest.
Yes currently im doing IOS and Javascript and have plans to Ruby after that.
Enjoy your stay here!
