Im in school and this thing is telling me Java is different than Java Script. Im taking Object-oriented Software Dev. what program language am i writing

3,203 PointsJava and Javascript are totally different languages (just an unfortunate marketing decision taken I believe when JavaScript was being named), Object Orientated development is a methodology that can be used with both languages. If you post some code maybe someone can tell you if you are learning JS or Java.
