Java vs JavaScript

What is exactly the difference between Java and JavaScript? Now i'm learning JS, so is it a good practice to go for java after it?

1 Answer

javascript is a client side. it is use for animation, design. it does not need to be compiled. it is interpreted by the browser itself.

Java on the other hand is a server side programming.

Javascript and Java does not have any relation at all.
