Java

Java.io.Console

What means java.io.Console

This is importing the Console class from the java.io package. This is needed so you can use the console object. Any time you have to go outside your own class to use an object inside your class you have to import it; unless it is the java.lang package which is already built in to every class.

Check out How Java import works (the first answer specifically) and the Console class. Those should cover your question.
