JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Storing and Tracking Information with Variables Review Creating and Naming Variables

Javascript Basics

How do you finish the javascript code variable with the name timeRemaining correctly? (no need to add a value yet)

This is what i typed and the quiz keeps telling me its wrong var timeRemaining = ;

1 Answer

Hi Iris,

The way you would create the variable without assigning anything to it is

var timeRemaining;

You wouldn't use an equal sign unless you were going to assign a value.

In this case, the var and semicolon are already there so you would only need to type timeRemaining in the blank.

Thank you Jason!
