JavaScript Foundations Stage 5 Code Challenge

This is what I have

      function arrayCounter(a) {
        if (typeof a === 'string', 'number', 'undefined') {
          return 0;
        }
        return a.length
      }

any advice?

What is the error message you get?

Since I don't know what error you are getting, maybe try changing you conditional to this:

function arrayCounter(a) {
        if ( typeof a === 'string' || typeof a === 'number' || typeof a === 'undefined' ) {
          return 0;
        }
        return a.length;
      }
