Javascript question - Are methods and functions the same thing?

In one of the videos the instuctor is talking about methods and then pulls up MDN.

"The Math.Round() function returns...." is what is shown on the screen.

?

Just trying to go back through the videos again and really get a grasp on the syntax! So any help would be greatly appreciated!

Basically, a "method" is a function that also happens to be a property of an object.

Thanks!
