JavaScript Track

I would like to see a stronger focus on JavaScript. I have been jumping to Code School and tutorial sites for JavaScript learning, but would prefer to have a JavaScript Development track via Treehouse :)

Is anyone else feeling like there is a lack of JS on Treehouse?

To Team Treehouse I say, you have built us up to be great beginner to intermediate developers through your courses...now take us to the next level :)

I have felt the same. There is still a quite a bit more content to be covered like more in depth details on Object Oriented Programming. Maybe making our own mini-MVC or game engine. Node.JS courses. Javascript Frameworks. The list goes on, then again staff members also have a schedule so the only answer is patience.

Guled A. Yes, patience appears to be the solution, but then again, if Treehouse is not putting more JavaScript content on their roadmap sooner rather than later, then that leaves me no choice but to go elsewhere to learn the content.

Andrew Chalkley What do you think?

We're hopefully coming out with two to three more courses JavaScript centered by the end of the summer.

They're in the early phase of production right now but should appear on the road map within the next 30 days. You can always pause your account if you're not interested in any other content.

Andrew Chalkley I'm excited to hear that! I am definitely looking forward to those courses. Can you give us an idea of what the JavaScript courses will be focused on? I never try to pause my account, because I think there is always more I can learn :)
