Java Java Objects Creating the MVP Remaining Characters

JavaTester.java:78: error: illegal start of expression public class Tweet {}

Somehow I get this error. The only code I added was public static final int MAX_CHARS = 140. If i remove the "public", somehow the code passes the test, but has trouble passing for the nex challenger problem.
