Jim Hoskins Full Stack Developer

HI, i just came to one of his vdidoes and looking at his description i read that hes a full stack. So while Guil specialises in CSS, Randy in PHP etc.. Jim makes it all? thats sound interestig! But how does it actually work? or is Jim just soo inteligent that he can handle them in advanced level not average, and keep them e.g 75% of them instead of like Guil specialises in 100% or soemthing? I know that everyone are full stack here probably, or at least most of people out there but then people specialise in one right?

Konrad;

Jim Hoskins is indeed talented. Perhaps he can shed some light on what it means, for him and/or Treehouse staff, to be a "full stack" developer. I know that many of the instructors at Treehouse, while specializing in specific instructional topics, are very well versed in other topics as well. For example, Craig Dennis is the Java instructor and does a great job with that. He also has a broad background in other languages as well, Java is just what he specialized in for Treehouse.

Hopefully Jim will be able to shed some additional light for you as to how his programming skills are currently utilized in the "full stack".

Great questions!

Ken

Oh wow, ill be one day, soon ( i dont know what soon means in programming languages to be good as them but ill say 10 years xd ) good as them :D I really like his videos too. As well as i really love vidoes from Joy etc..

Beeing a full stack, i believe everyone are a full stack as i mean HTML/CSS , JS and PHP and can do any website . But yet, i know people specialises in it like we said above , but beeing a master in all of them( others prpbably too) ? :D

That would be cool if Jim could say something more and maybe how he started and what he did . Actually , why wont Pasant make a video or something about interview about how they studied and sthat stuff, a short one , i know theres something similar in career courses which is one of m favorite .

I love treehouse!

Thank you!!! :)
