Is it really hard to find a job with only knowledge of html/css maybe little java and media query. Im almost done with the whole web design course here i reckon ill finish it by the time i sleep. Id really like a job in this field though im pretty interested but uncertain if im ready.

26,671 Pointsjava and javascript are two different unrelated programing languages. I learned jquery first then Javascript. Practice Practice Practice. Learn here do & the exercises along with the video. Complete codeacademy.com courses. And do side projects.

1,183 Pointsok ill actually focus on jquery and java script. I usually practice writing the code until i can properly read the syntax without problem. Maybe its the same thing for all.
