Getting the following error:

Bummer! I was expecting target to be _blank not ``

$("external").attr("target", "_blank");

:point_right: When targeting a class, you must include a period (.) before the class name:

$(".external").attr("target", "_blank");

Otherwise, it's looking for an HTML element tag named "external" (which is not a valid element type).
