jquery course in the javascript track not well explained and not well written

i finished the jquery course just my opinion but I found this jquery course to be extremely hard for beginners. we didnt really do anything on our own. we just copied whatever andrew wrote. and when he explained things, the explanations were not good and i found myself trying to learn jquery on other sites which i dont feel i should have to do as im already paying for treehouse. i didnt even know what questions to ask because i dont even know what i didnt understand. there were no big project challenges like in javascript where i spent several hours trying to devise a solution. and the small challenges that we had were just "change the word on line 51 to this". the lessons were too hard and the challenges were too easy. or sometimes the challenge was so random and made absolute no sense and was confusing. terms were just flung around and just overall ive wanted to just quit javascript many times because none of this made sense and i didnt really learn much. the javascripts basic was much more beginner friendly. im going to proceed to whats next of the track anyways and hopefully itll have a better teaching approach.

Hey kevin,

I was the same way too. When i was doing the JQuery course, I couldn't figure it out, but wait till you get to the AJAX course. In the AJAX course i understood JQuery so much better than the actual jquery course itself.

hope that helps and keep practicing, you'll get it and once you get you'll love jquery.

Hey James, thanks for your comment and its good to hear that things will get better!
