JQuery Plugins

Hello Everyone , these plugins stuff are so cool !! i really like it but i have a question, how these plugins makers make money !!? i see that anyone can use it without any fees ! ,am i missing something here ? thanks in advance :)

Obviously, the plug-ins are not intended to make a profit. But the authors might sell other software items, and give a few away to establish a reputation.
