.json() quick question

So when we use fetch and the "then" method, we use .json() with the response, now i'm good with everything so far, does .json() return a object? I finished the Fetch API workshop and understood all of it just fine. Just this part I wanted to clear up is all.

Yes

Body.json(): Takes a Response stream and reads it to completion. It returns a promise that resolves with a JSON object.
