Android Build a Weather App (2015) Working with JSON Using JSONObject

JSONObject can't converted into String

I don't get the point what is wrong I got the error "JavaTester.java:98: error: incompatible types: JSONObject cannot be converted to String JSONObject jsonData = new JSONObject(jsonData); "

The challenge says jsonData is already created so you don't need to create a new one:

JSONObject jsonData = new JSONObject(jsonData);
// Error is cause by this -----------^^^^^^^^
// jsonData is not a String, and can't match with any other constructors
