28,147 PointsYou really don't need anything crazy, which is the good part. What computer are you using right now? It's probably good enough to do the lessons, download and use a text editor, and maybe a vector program like Inkscape.

Treehouse Guest TeacherSome things will depend on the types of course you want to take. For example, if you want to learn iOS Development, you'll need to have a Mac. For most courses, though, you'll just need a computer with Internet access.

4,777 PointsYou do not need a lot of computer power to code but what's more important is when you run the program you made so depending on your programming language you may need to run a server. If you use php or ruby you will need to run a sever but you sill do not need a lot!
