That was great, now I'm looking at building a personal website with what I have learned here so far. Do any of you out there have examples of your own personal websites that describe your work and developer skills? I'm looking for layout ideas and what kind of content to include about myself. Looking to use the site as a sort of personal business card.

50 PointsHey Jon. I built a personal resume site awhile back. Although I use it mainly for my career as a machinist and there is not much content regarding programming, I thought you might be able to use it purely for layout ideas. Here's the link www.richknoll.com.
I would love to hear any feedback you may have. Hope this helps!

7,685 PointsThanks Rich for your reply. Your site is inspiring, broad with content and shows off your wide range of skills. Did you learn the code that you used in your site here on Tree house?
Thanks for sharing.
Jon.

50 PointsHey Jon,
Thanks for the feedback. Actually I just discovered Tree house recently so I'm just diving into it now. Everything I learned was from Lynda.com which is very similar to this site.

7,685 PointsWell Rich, it would appear from your work that Lynda is chock full of good training since you produced an impressive site. Do you find Treehouse to be on par with what you have used before?

50 PointsWell, like I said, I'm just kind of diving into it for the first time now so it's hard to say. Lynda does not have a forum like this, so I'm loving the ability to interact with other people who are trying to accomplish the same things as me. I would recommend that you check out Lynda if for the very least to just give you a little bit of variety.

Courses Plus Student 16,352 PointsHi Rich,
That's impressive for having taught yourself to code that Web page. I especially like the tabbed content sections. I noticed your page is console logging mouseover events. A minor criticism that I can offer is that classes are for CSS styling, while IDs are used for JavaScript - performance reasons, for the most part. Thanks for sharing.
