Laptop Recommendation

Hello!

Does anyone have any recommendations for specs or companies I should look for when purchasing a new / refurbished laptop, monitor, or external hard drive? Any other equipment I may want to look into purchasing?

I'm new to coding. I just signed up for Code Louisville and am very excited to get started! But the laptop I've been using since 2012 is probably too slow for the new workload I'll be doing when learning HTML, CSS, etc.

Thank you!

You might be surprised. Most front-end development is not terribly demanding on a CPU. You might want to get started and see how it goes before making a purchase decision.

I'll give it a try. Thank you, Steven Parker!
