What laptop specs essentials you need for Computer Programming?

Courses Plus Student 454 Pointsdepends if you're looking to drop some cash or not. if you are maybe a macbook or a linux laptop. maybe 1tb of storage 6gb of ram good processor like an i7 (i think macbooks come with this) backlit keyboard would be nice.
if you're not looking to spend a lot of money, any budget laptop will do probably stay away from netbooks. get atleast 3gb of ram 500gb storage you should be good as most laptops atleast come with this. im pretty sure someone can correct me if im wrong or add more
