Laravel - "npm run dev" error

Hello everyone!
I've posted an isssue on github if you've experienced the same error and found a solution please help me out!

UPDATE!
If you've experienced the same problem. Try to install Linux Mint instead of Ubuntu 18.04.
I've just finished my set-up and everything works as intended... I did everything the same way I did in Ubuntu...
