'Launch Console' doesn't seem to work for me right now. Anyone else?

FF or Chrome. I get a "The connection was reset" error.

Have contacted support. Is anyone else having this issue?

Just tried - still times out.

Can you please post a link to a site where it's not working?

It's working for me...

Imaget

If you are you on windows, try to open CMD and type:

ipconfig/flushdns

ipconfig/release

ipconfig/renew

If you are on OSX let me know

yes - flushdns worked - other commands failed.

solved?

Try to run "chrome --ssl-version-max=tsl1" without the quotes. If it doesn't work, please post a screenshot.

Thanks, but can you please post another shot with the "More" menu extented?

On the other shot i can't see any information about the bug.

Did the Treehouse Console worked on this Computer before? If not the Firewall might block the Port 3388 or it's a problem with the MTU

Have actively enable 3388 on Windows firewall, both incoming and outgoing. No change.

results from trying MTU thing - not sure how to interpret - except that reducing it doesn't help... https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=BF5EDA57450878B4!1416&authkey=!APp2C_YxH5EGp-E&v=3&ithint=photo%2cpng

Did you use "your" MTU? You can find it by typing:

netsh interface ipv4 show subinterfaces

yes, that was the first one. 1500. Higher values give the same result as 1500.

Curios. Please follow my link and try it again. If it doesn't work, I don't know how to continue.

Philip

"ping www.google.com -f -l 1500" gives needs fragmented. 1472 works. 1472 to teamtreehouse does not [times out]. 1472 to dslreports.com does not [times out].

Very, very curious. I search for other solutions.

thanks so much for your suggestions.Network/systems stuff not my strong point.

Do you have other computers in your network where you can try to access the site? Then we know if its a network or a computer problem.

Maybe I can use a colleague's machine for a minute...on my colleague's machine, I click the button and nothing happens at all - the new window doesn't even open...

And when you type in the URL directly? If you are at your company, do you have a network admin? ... Another idea ... Have you checked your routers firewall?

ah, can't now - she is back using it. sorry, didn't' think of that.

But... As you are a director at your company do you have you access to your Routers backend interface/ Do you have an employee for network administration ? Is the Port maybe blocked there?

This is at a client site. I will ask the network guys tomorrow.

Ok, please write here tomorrow if they solved it(and how)?

Solved?

No. Network guys reckon probably the port is blocked at the ISP - but I haven't had confirmation.

As I said, for now you can only work in your office with the console by connecting you phone to the PC(over a hotspot).
