Law of Demeter principle at @3:05 ?

Is the concept the teacher describing @3:05 known as the 'Law of Demeter' principle in programming? It sounds like it from a programming book I'm reading.

There's a Wikipedia page on the Law of Demeter, Based on the description, it does seem this lesson does reference the basic principle though it's not the main point. It is a fundamental concept in object-oriented development, but I don't think that term is ever used in any of the Treehouse courses.
