Layout suggestions

Hey I just created working on html website template and I done almost but still many things to do.I need your suggestions in some areas.

  1. In food section I am using vertical lines which is absolute of image which get messed when resize window.
  2. In the section why shanghai ? I have an svg monitor image inside of which i want image.

If you have any solution related to above problems so please help me or if you have any other suggestion let me know.

I don't know if this was updated since you posted the questions. I didn't see a food section. But for the Places to Explore I would try changing the media query when it is in a large view. Maybe 2 or 3 columns instead of just 1. It looks great when it is in a smaller view, but full screen the pictures are a little off.

food section is only visible between the viewport of 1200px - 1600px
