Learning a new framework

PHP frameworks are main stays nowadays when it comes to fast, efficient and structured php development, but frameworks generally come with a steep learning curve where some like myself do not have the luxury of time to learn it up.

So my question is, what is the one optimal framework which I should start off with among the vast number frameworks available today like Zend, Laravel, etc..

Seems like Laravel has all the momentum right now. I wish Treehouse would have some PHP framework courses.

Keep an eye on the roadmap. I would suggest more than one will be discussed in the future.
