Learning both CSS and JavaScript at the same time?

What practical tips do you have for studying / learning both CSS and JavaScript at the same time? While my CSS is certainly stronger than my JS, I still need to study both a lot. However, I find my self in different learning sprints of CSS and Javascript. I'll learn some CSS for 2 weeks or so, and then I'll jump back to Javascript for a couple weeks. However, I find that I seem to 'forget' some of the stuff I learned or feel out of my rhythm. How do you balance learning multiple topics at once?

I have noticed that even if I learn every day but not long enough I forget. Basically I face this same problem. The only answer I know is to practice more, and at least a little bit of every subject every day. Though love.
