I'd like to know if it would be acceptable to learn two languages at the same time. I've been working on Ruby, and I enjoy it. But I would really like to pick up Java as well, so I could eventually move towards Android development. Would it be too difficult to learn both almost simultaneously?

I do the mostly the same - looking at more courses.
Reason: for me it's easier to learn because of the repeat process you get when you forget how it's done and have to look for the answers online again.
But it's up to you. You can try and see if you learn better that way or if only on one course at a time.
Happy Coding!!!
