let navigationLinks = document.querySelectorAll('nav ul li') not sure why this syntax can't work.

I am wondering why the following line of code does not work to select all the li tags inside the navigation tag.

let navigationLinks = document.querySelectorAll('nav ul li')

Hi there, Alex Giron! It actually does work to select all the list items. However, the challenge is not asking you to select the list items. It's asking you to select the links. Remember, a list item is <li> and a link is represented by the anchor tag or <a> tag.

Try 'nav a' instead.
