Let’s create a new rule that removes the whitespace with a negative margin.

The error message reads "Make sure you’re giving ‘.col’ the correct negative margin value.". If there's a specific value that I need to enter, I'm not sure what that is.

index.html

    <link rel="stylesheet" href="page.css">

<body>
    <div class="main-wrapper">
        <header class="main-header">
            <h1 class="main-logo"><a href="#">My Work</a></h1>
            <ul class="main-nav">
                <li><a href="#">Design</a></li>
                <li><a href="#">Coding</a></li>
                <li><a href="#">Writing</a></li>
                <li><a href="#">Hire Me!</a></li>

        </header>
        <div class="primary col">

Hi Ben.

I'm not sure that the white-space property will take a numeric value. I referenced the property here -> http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_text_white-space.asp

I think what they're looking for is:

.col { margin: -2px; }

It's ambiguous because the question asks to remove "whitespace," but this should be your solution.

I hope this helps. -S

It worked, using the margin property instead of white-space.

Thank you
