let vs. const

Why doesn't "let" work to solve this challenge? Wouldn't it be the more natural choice, given that these values might change in a real-world programming scenario??

Do you mean the 2nd task? You can use let. Read the last line: "I used const but let and var would be fine to use as well."

Although I'm not sure why they used const instead of let.

I read that. And yet, it didn't work when I used "let" in the challenge.

I tried it myself just now, and it worked for me. 🤔
