Let's get social! Anyone?

(Is not a question)

Personally, I'm really missing a global/direct chat-function here on Treehouse. I think it'd be nice if we got to know eachother on a different level than just the "ask a question and get a response"-level.

So, I'm thinking that if anyone wants to chat it up and get social, ask questions, have fun, we could all do so via IRC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Relay_Chat).

Boot up your favorite IRC client and join the #teamtreehouse channel over on freenode (https://freenode.net or https://freenode.net/using_the_network.shtml).

If you do not have an IRC-client, and do not want to install one, freenode provides a webchat-functionality as well. You can access it here: https://webchat.freenode.net/. Just pick a nickname, enter #teamtreehouse in the "Channels" field, enter the captcha and connect.

I hope to see someone there. I can't be the only one wanting a service like this?
