The link in the teachers notes is not meant to go anywhere (nor did it ever). You can tell this by the domain example.com being used (this is a universal example site).
The URL is only to illustrate the structure of an HTTP request used by an API. This is only a general example and not tied to any specific API or site.
Here it's showing how a URL might look when using an HTTP request to get the page regarding the movie "Gone With the Wind".
