link separations

Hello,

This is a link to my workspace

https://w.trhou.se/smgwb5zyza

and when you preview it you will see that list items are one white field with no separation in between, on a viedeo they are separated by default, and I tried to close workspace and reload and nothing changes so I assume I simply don't know how to do it :) I have tried to play around with margins, padding and even border but wihout effect.

please advise thanks

Hey there! It is something very small in detail that is making it appear that the links are not separated! However in fact they are! What the problem is here is that you have a white background also fixed to your ul element containing the links. If you remove that you will see the separation!

Strange, but when i reopened this worspace now the separations were there so perhaps it was just some workspaces issue. Nevertheless your answer was very clever ! Thank you for pointing that out i did not take background color in consideration and i feel that this lesson may be usefull in the future :)

Thanks!
